The New England Patriots Establish Control In The AFC

On Sunday Night Football, the New England Patriots stomped the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 42-20 in Indianapolis. Rookie running back Jonas Gray scored 4 touchdowns and rushed for 199 yards, to give the Patriots firm control of the top seed in the AFC, with an 8-2 record.

New England quarterback Tom Brady didn’t even have a particularly good night, finishing at 19 of 30 passing, for 257 yards, with 2 touchdowns, but also 2 interceptions. The big difference in the game was on the ground. The Patriots outrushed the Colts by a staggering 244 yards to 19. Andrew Luck did throw for 303 yards for the Colts, along with 2 touchdowns.

But when you rush for 19 yards on 17 carries, you better be gaining some yards in the air. The Colts are now 6-4, and lead the AFC South by a game over the Houston Texans. Indianapolis can’t go very far in the playoffs as a one-dimensional team.

Remember after the Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, 41-14, many so-called experts were predicting the end of Tom Brady and the Bill Belichick era at New England? What a bunch of dopes. Since then, they have won all 6 games, including back-to-back demolishments of top AFC rivals, the Denver Broncos and the Colts.

With tight end Rob Gronkowski back at full strength, and a defense that seems to be getting better every game, the Patriots are definitely the team to beat to get to the Super Bowl from the AFC. All challengers will have to go to New England and beat the Patriots there, unless something drastically changes in the next 6 weeks.

Gray had not scored a touchdown in his rookie year, until his 4 scores on Sunday night. If the Patriots can continue to run the ball that successfully, beating them in the cold weather in January, with Brady at the controls, would be nearly impossible.

The Broncos were looking like they would return to the Super Bowl, after losing last year, but after consecutive losses, including a 22-7 defeat at the hands of the 4-6 St. Louis Rams, the Patriots have a game led over them for the top seed, and the tie-breaker, because of beating them the week before.

Will the Brady-Belichick regime, who was dead and buried by many, return to the Super Bowl for the 6th time in February? It’s looking more and more like that will happen each week. Since the New York Giants, who beat them twice in previous Super Bowls, won’t be in the playoffs, then Patriots’ chances look good for a 4th championship, but we have a long way to go still.

The Arizona Cardinals Have The Best Record In The NFL

After 10 weeks of the 2014 NFL season, the Arizona Cardinals are alone at the top with an 8-1 record. Did anyone predict this? After their 31-14 NFC West divisional win over the St.Louis Rams, the Cardinals maintained their 2 game lead over the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks, and a 3 game lead over the San Francisco 49ers.

So how are they doing it? Do they have a terrific offense? No. How about their defense? Well, not really. Let’s take a look at the numbers. The Cardinals are 13th in the NFL in offensive passing yards, and 29th in rushing yards. They are 3rd in rushing defense, but 30th in passing defense.

One statistic that did stand out to me is the difference in interceptions thrown versus interceptions caught. Arizona starting quarterback Carson Palmer has thrown just 3 interceptions on the year, which are the only 3 for the team so far, while their defense has picked off 14 passes, for a net +11 in interceptions.

However, Palmer tore his ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) in the win over the Rams, and is out for the remainder of the season. The Cardinals will now play back-up Drew Stanton as their quarterback for the rest of their games. Stanton has played this year, while Palmer was out with injury, throwing 3 touchdowns and no interceptions, but only completed 49.5% of his passes.

Can Arizona keep winning with their back-up quarterback? With a game next week against the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions, a game against the 49ers, and 2 against the Seahawks looming on their schedule, it will be tough for them to maintain their momentum.

It’s not so much the change in quarterback that concerns me, but a combination of a few other things. First, their running game is lousy. In addition to being 29th in rushing yards per game, they are only averaging 3.2 yards per rush, well under the NFL average 4.0. With a back-up quarterback, and very little threat of a running game, defenses should load up to blitz Stanton, and dare him to beat them with his arm.

Second, it’s doubtful that the Cardinal defense will continue to produce more than a +1 per game interception differential. The heat will be on Stanton to perform, but also more pressure will be on their defense to keep games close. Arizona will make the playoffs, and they may even hold on to win their division, but I don’t think they will make it very far into the playoffs, let alone winning the Super Bowl, which is in their home stadium by the way.

The San Francisco Giants Win Their 3rd World Series in 5 Years

The San Francisco Giants beat the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in Game 7 to win the 2014 World Series. Giants’ pitcher Madison Bumgarner earned a well deserved Most Valuable Player award with his outstanding pitching performance in the World Series, as well as the rest of the postseason.

Bumgarner won 2 of the Giants’ games in the World Series as a starting pitcher, then added a 5 inning scoreless save on Wednesday night to finish off the Royals, to give his team their 3rd championship in the last 5 years. The last even-numbered year World Series that the Giants didn’t win was back in 2008. Pencil them in to win it again in 2016.

Bumgarner was also MVP of the National League Championship Series, and finished the postseason with a record 52 2/3 innings pitched, while going 4-1, with a 1.03 earned run average. As good as those numbers are, he was even better in the World Series. He became only the 5th pitcher ever, and first in 49 years, to win 2 games in a World Series, pitch 20 innings, and have an ERA under o.50, with his 0.43. His career World Series stats are 4-0 with an unbelievable 0.25 ERA and a save.

With the way the Royals played, the Giants needed everything Bumgarner could give them to eventually win a 7-game series by 1 run. The Royals barely made the playoffs, and had to beat the Oakland A’s in a one game playoff 9-8 in 12 innings, before sweeping the team with the best record in the major leagues, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, in their 3-game American League Divisional Series.

In the American League Championship Series, the Royals were once again the underdog, this time to the Baltimore Orioles. Not fazed at all, the Royals swept the Orioles in 4 games, and entered the World Series 8-0 in the 2014 postseason. But getting past the Giants proved to be too much of a task for the Royals to earn their first World Series Championship since 1985.

As a wild card, the Giants also had to win a 1-game playoff to make it into the Divisional Series, pounding the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-0. Then they dispatched the Washington Senators, who had the best record in the National League, 3 games to 1. Next up was the always formidable St. Louis Cardinals. But the Giants needed just 5 games to finish them off, winning 4 of them.

This World Series will be remembered most for the outstanding pitching performance of Madison Bumgarner, as well as the San Francicso Giants taking the mantle as the most dominating team since the New York Yankees of the late 1990s. Can they repeat, and win a World Series in an odd-numbered year, or doesn’t it only work every 2 years? We shall see, within the next 12 months.

Peyton Manning Sets NFL Career Passing Touchdown Record

Peyton Manning now has more passing touchdowns than any quarterback in NFL history, after his Denver Broncos crushed the San Francisco 49ers 42-17 on Sunday Night Football. The record-breaking 509th touchdown came with 3:09 remaining in the 2nd quarter, on an 8-yard pass to Demaryius Thomas.

Manning needed just 246 games to pass Brett Favre, the previous record-holder, who threw his 508 touchdowns in 302 games played. Amazingly, in just his 38th game as a Denver Bronco, Manning is now 2nd on the all-time team touchdown list, trailing only current General Manager John Elway.

You had to know this day would eventually come, as long as Manning’s surgically repaired neck held up. Starting with his rookie year in Indianapolis, he was throwing touchdowns at a rapid pace. While today’s game is a definite passing league, you can’t take anything away from this accomplishment, he’s thrown more touchdown passes than anyone.

A look at the career touchdown passing leaders shows that 3 of the top 5 are still playing. Manning added a touchdown in the 3rd quarter to finish his day at 510. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is 4th with 374 touchdown passes, and New England Patriot Tom Brady is 5th with 372. Other than Favre, the only retired player on the list, is Dan Marino, who held the record for over 2 decades, with 420 career touchdown passes.

The football game, like the record, was over pretty early. Manning’s record-breaker gave the Broncos an insurmountable 21-3 lead in the 2nd quarter. Denver didn’t just throw for a lot of yards, they also nearly doubled the rushing yards of the 49ers, 115 to 62.

The win also gave the Broncos sole possession of the lead in the AFC West, with the loss of the San Diego Chargers to the Kansas City Chiefs 23-20. Denver is now 5-1, while the Chargers are 5-2.

The 49ers dropped to 4-3, a game and a half behind the surprising Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West. The Cardinals are 5-1 after a 24-13 victory over the winless Oakland Raiders.

Talk about surprising, the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks are now in 3rd place in the NFC West at 3-3, after a 28-26 loss to the 2-4 St. Louis Rams. The Rams pulled off a trick punt return for a touchdown, and then put the game away on a fake punt, which resulted in a first down, and enabled them to run out the clock.

If Manning continues to throw touchdown passes at his current 2.9 per game, since he came to Denver, and he remains healthy, even at 38 years old, who knows how far out he can push his record. Favre even commented that Manning was now on to 600. That will be a record very hard to break, even in the current passer-friendly NFL.

The Dallas Cowboys Beat The Seahawks In Seattle 30-23

The Dallas Cowboys won their 5th consecutive game, beating the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks 30-23 in Seattle on Sunday. This was not only a rare home defeat for the Seahawks, but it wasn’t even as close as the final score.

Cowboy running back DeMarco Murray has now started this season with 6 consecutive 100 yard rushing games. He has tied the all-time record held by Jim Brown. Murray rushed for 115 yards on 29 carries, and 1 touchdown. Seattle only rushed for 80 yards as a team in the game.

Dallas quarterback Tony Romo also outplayed Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson. Romo was 21 of 32 passing, for 250 yards, with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Wilson had an uncharacteristically poor outing, only completing half of his 28 passes, for a measly 126 yards and an interception, with no touchdown passes. Wilson did have a 9-yard touchdown run in the game.

The biggest surprise about the Cowboys’ success is from their defense, which was the worst in Dallas history last year. To hold the champs to a total of only 206 total yards is quite impressive. Meanwhile the Cowboys had 401 total yards. Seattle needed more than a 12th man in this game. This was only the 2nd regular season home loss with Wilson at quarterback, who is in his 3rd NFL season.

The Cowboys have endured 3 straight 8-8 seasons. Starting this season at 5-1 is obviously a tremendous improvement so far. They are tied for first place in the NFC East with the Philadelphia Eagles, who crushed the New York Giants 27-0 on Sunday Night Football. After just 6 games, this division looks destined to be a 2-team race for the rest of the season.

The Cowboys and Eagles do not meet until Thanksgiving day in Dallas, then again 2 weeks later in Philadelphia. The resurgence of the Cowboys is exactly what millions of Cowboy fans have been waiting for since the 1995 season, the last time Dallas won a Super Bowl. The Cowboys only have 2 playoff wins since then.

The NFL has to like the fact that “America’s Team” is relevant once again. Romo has taken an inordinate amount of blame for the team’s failure to make the playoffs lately. Last year, Romo had a very good year. But the defense was just too much for the offense to overcome, for more than 8 wins.

It’s still early in the season, but some “experts” are saying Dallas is the best team in the NFL after their road win over Seattle. They may look that way now, but the Cowboys have a recent history of flaming out at the end of seasons.

If Dallas can keep this solid play on offense and defense going for 3 more months, then they really could be a team to be reckoned with. But we have a long way to go, and a lot can change between October and the Super Bowl in February.

Upset Weekend In College Football

This weekend was the first big upset weekend in college football this year. The #2, 3, 4, 6 & 8 ranked teams all went down to defeat. Oregon, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and UCLA respectively were beaten, starting on Thursday night.

Arizona went into Oregon on Thursday night, and took down the #2 ranked Ducks 31-24. Heisman Trophy front-runner Marcus Mariota was basically matched by Arizona quarterback Anu Solomon, but the running game was the difference for the Wildcats. They outrushed Oregon 208 yards to 144 yards.

Arizona took the lead for good with 2:54 remaining, on a 1-yard run by Terris Jones-Grigsby, to finish the scoring at 31-24. Not a bad effort for a 24-point underdog, and previously unranked team. Arizona is now ranked #10.

The 3rd ranked Alabama Crimson Tide fell on the road to Mississippi 23-17. Alabama took a 17-10 lead into the 4th quarter, but were outscored 13-0 in the final quarter. Mississippi quarterback Bo Wallace threw 2 touchdown passes in the final 5:29, to lead the Rebels to their biggest win in 52 years.

Oklahoma was the next highly ranked team to go down. The 4th ranked Sooners lost to the TCU Horned Frogs. Tied at 31 after 3 quarters, Paul Dawson intercepted a pass from Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight, and returned it 41 yards for a touchdown. Although the ensuing extra point was blocked, and returned for 2 points by Zach Sanchez, Oklahoma could not get any closer than the final score of 37-33.

In what rounded out the greatest day in Mississippi football that I ever remember, Mississippi State upset #6 Texas A&M, and it wasn’t even close. the Bulldogs led this game 48-17 in the 4th quarter, before the Aggies scored 2 late touchdowns to make the score look much closer than it was. Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott stormed into the Heisman conversation with 2 touchdown passes and 3 touchdown runs in the 48-31 home beatdown.

UCLA was the final team ranked in the Top 8 to lose. Utah upset the 8th ranked Bruins 30-28 in Pasadena, CA. The Utes took the early 14-0 lead, and still had a 10-point lead at halftime. As expected, UCLA came back, and eventually took a 28-27 lead with 4:50 remaining in the 4th quarter, on a 40-yard touchdown pass from Brett Hundley to Eldridge Massington.

Utah took the lead with 34 seconds left, on a 29-yard field goal by Andy Phillips, but had to wait to see if a field goal would beat them. UCLA kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn missed a 50-yard attempt as time expired, and Utah had a 30-28 road win. The Utes sacked Hundley 10 times in the game.

The new Associated Press rankings show a much different picture than from the previous week. Defending champion Florida State is still ranked #1, but Auburn, who crushed LSU 41-7 at home, moved up from #5 to #2. Mississippi and Mississippi State are now tied at #3. Baylor is at #5, after beating Texas on the road 28-7. Notre Dame is next, at #6, after a thrilling 17-14 victory over previously #14 Stanford.

This was the first week of the college football season, in which there were several games featuring 2 ranked teams. There were 7 games this weekend with ranked teams, while only having 1 last weekend.

We have a long way to go, but this season has already become very interesting and surprising. The SEC does still have 3 of the top 4 ranked teams, but prohibitive favorites Alabama and LSU have already lost, in fact LSU has already lost twice, and any chance to be in the first ever college football playoff appears to over, in the first week of October.

The Chiefs Crushed The Patriots On Monday Night Football 41-14

The Kansas City Chiefs dominated the New England Patriots in a 41-14 beatdown on Monday Night Football in Kansas City. This game wasn’t even as close as the final score.

The Chiefs are very good at home, but who expected this on a Monday Night, from the New England Patriots, with head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady still around? While their offense again struggled, their defense surrendered 303 total yards, and a 17-0 deficit to Kansas City, by halftime.

Chief’s running back Jamaal Charles outscored the Patriots by himself, with a rushing touchdown and 2 receiving touchdowns, giving Kansas City a 24-0 lead halfway through the 3rd quarter. Quarterback Alex Smith had a great game, with 20 of 26 passing for 248 yards and 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions.

On the other hand, Tom Brady had a miserable game, especially by his standards. He was 14 of 23 passing for 159 yards, with one touchdown, and 2 interceptions. The last of those interceptions resulted in a Husain Abdullah 39-yard interception return for a touchdown, which put the nail in the coffin for this game at 41-7.

After that interception, Brady watched the rest of the 4th quarter from the bench. Rookie Jimmy Garoppolo came in and drove the Patriots 81 yards for their 2nd and final touchdown, a 13-yard reception by tight end Rob Gronkowski. Remember him?

No there isn’t a quarterback controversy in New England, but many so-called experts are already questioning if this is the beginning of the end for the Bill Belichick-Tom Brady era. Talk about jumping the gun. They aren’t 0-4, they are 2-2, and tied for 1st place in the weak AFC East. The Miami Dolphins seem to be the only threat to the Patriots winning this division once again.

While the Chiefs are also 2-2, this was a big win for them. With the Denver Broncos being the favorite in the AFC to make it to the Super Bowl, the other first round bye in the conference seems to be available to only a few teams, including the Chiefs. The undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, who had a bye this week, and the 3-1 San Diego Chargers are the only other teams looking capable of earning a top 2 seed in the AFC, barring a huge turnaround from the Patriots.

The Patriots will need to figure things out quickly, as they welcome the rested Bengals next week. It’s a long season, and we’re only 1/4 of the way into it, but with a porous offensive line, and with only a few reliable receiving options available, this may be a tough season for the New England Patriots.

Only 3 Undefeated Teams Remain In The NFL After Week 3

The only remaining undefeated teams in the NFL after just 3 games, are the Arizona Cardinals, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have been the most dominant of these teams, with a 47-point differential in 3 games.

Cincinnati started the season with a road win over the Baltimore Ravens 23-16, and followed that up with 2 home wins. They beat the Atlanta Falcons 24-10 in Week 2, and thumped the Tennessee Titans 33-7 on Sunday.

The Bengals have only surrendered 33 points in their 3 wins, the lowest amount in the NFL. But their offense has been quite good also, averaging almost 27 points per game, which is the 6th most in the league. Cincinnati did win the AFC East last season, but this has been an impressive start to their season.

The Arizona Cardinals have sole possession of the lead in the NFC West, which is the strongest division in football, with the defending champion Seattle Seahawks, and the San Francisco 49ers, along with the St. Louis Rams.

Arizona started the season with a narrow 18-17 win over the San Diego Chargers at home, then beat the New York Giants 25-14 on the road, and a come-from-behind 23-14 division win over the 49ers at home on Sunday.

As you can see from their scores, the Cardinals are winning with their defense. With starting quarterback Carson Palmer out with an injury, they still have won with back-up Drew Stanton filling-in for the last 2 games. Even when Palmer returns, defense will remain the key to winning for the Cardinals.

The last of the remaining undefeated teams is the NFC East-leading Eagles. The Eagles have taken a different approach to winning their first 3 games. They are 2nd in points scored, and have come back from double digit deficits in all of those games.

Philadelphia started the season with a 34-17 easy win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, if you just look at the final score. However, they trailed at halftime 17-0. Then in their 2nd game, they, along with some help from help from the refs, came back to beat the Colts in Indianapolis 30-27.

On Sunday, the Eagles beat the Washington Redskins 37-34 at home, in the best shootout of the young season so far. Eagles quarterback Nick Foles and Redskin back-up Kirk Cousins each threw for 3 touchdown passes, but the Eagles ended up winning in the end. RG3 may have trouble getting his job back in Washington, once he returns from injury.

Which of these teams is most likely to finish with the best season? While defense wins championships, just ask the Seahawks about that, I’m not comfortable with the Cardinals’ quarterback situation. Their defense can carry them, but not deep into the playoffs.

The Bengals have been to the playoffs 3 years in a row, but haven’t won a playoff game, with Andy Dalton at quarterback, but he is a solid player, to complement their defense. Also, in the AFC, other than the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots, there really isn’t another formidable team to get past.

The Eagles have an easy division, and their fast-paced offense seems to wear down opposing defenses at the end of games. If Foles can continue to play like he has in the last year, I think the Eagles have the best chance to make a strong run for the Super Bowl out of the remaining undefeated teams.

The Eagles Come Back To Beat The Colts 30-27

The Philadelphia Eagles came back from a 14-point deficit, with some help from the refs, to beat the Indianapolis Colts 30-27 on Monday Night Football in Indianapolis. The Eagles opened the scoring with a field goal, then never led again until time expired at the end of the game.

Even though the Eagles outgained the Colts dramatically, 458-341 yards, they looked to be headed for a loss, until late in the game. Trailing 20-6 with 6:43 left in the 3rd quarter, Philadelphia scored 2 touchdowns in a 4-minute span to tie the score.

The Colts then went 80 yards in 12 plays to take a 27-20 lead with 11:49 remaining in the 4th quarter. After stopping the Eagles on their next drive, Indianapolis was moving into position to put the game away, when Malcolm Jenkins intercepted an Andrew Luck pass. Upon a closer look, Colts’ receiver T.Y. Hilton, who was the intended receiver on the play, was grabbed, with no penalty called.

Shortly after the interception, a phantom horse collar was called against the Colts, giving the Eagles another 15 yards toward the tying touchdown. The Eagles did tie the score at 27 on a 6-yard touchdown reception by Jeremy Macklin from Nick Foles with 3:25 remaining.

When Indianapolis got the ball back, they strangely ran the ball on 1st and 2nd down, and had an incomplete pass on 3rd down. The Colts then punted the ball back to the Eagles. The Eagles responded with a 36-yard field goal by Cody Parkey to win the game 30-27. The Eagles are 2-0, while the Colts fall to 0-2. Both teams won their divisions last year.

In the Week 1 games, I didn’t see any really bad calls by the referees, which surprised me. But they made up for it in Week 2. I don’t understand why it seems like the college officials are much better than the NFL officials. That doesn’t make sense.

In addition to the screw job delivered to the Colts, the Seattle Seahawks scored on a 51-yard run by Percy Harvin for their 1st touchdown of the game. However, Harvin clearly stepped out at the 22-yard line. The review officials even missed this call. At least that mistake didn’t decide the game, as the San Diego Chargers sent the defending Super Bowl Champion Seahawks home with a 30-21 loss.

There were a few games on Sunday that had even bigger comebacks than the Eagles 14-point rally. The Green Bay Packers trailed the New York Jets 21-3 early, and eventually won the game 31-24. The Jets appeared to tie the game with about 5 minutes left with a long touchdown pass, but their offensive coordinator had called a timeout just before the play ran.

On Sunday night, the San Francisco 49ers appeared to be cruising to an easy win, leading 17-0 late in the 1st half, but 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick helped the Chicago Bears come back by throwing 3 interceptions and losing a fumble. The Bears ended up winning 28-20.

The Ray Rice Situation – Getting Uglier By The Day

After the release of the video by TMZ Sports on Monday, showing Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice punching and knocking out his then fiancee Janay Palmer in an elevator, blame has been placed all over the league. The Ravens terminated Rice’s contact on Monday, and the NFL suspended him indefinitely.

Before Monday, all the public had seen was Rice dragging Palmer out of the elevator, and laying her down on the floor. The video seemed to show him hit her once, then she came toward him, and he punched her again, and her head hit the handrail around the inside of the elevator, and she was knocked out.

When the elevator door opened, a non-remorseful Rice picked her up, face down, and with her feet dragging, attempted unsuccessfully to just get her out of the elevator. Her feet were still in the elevator. Then as he reached down to get her feet out of the elevator, security came over to the scene.

On Tuesday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell denied in an interview with CBS, that anyone in the league had seen the video before Monday. But then on Wednesday, the Associated Press (AP) reported that the video was sent to the NFL back in April. Goodell responded that former FBI director Robert Mueller will conduct an investigation into these allegations.

This whole situation reminds me of a line George Constanza said in a Seinfeld episode, “it’s like an onion, the more you peel away, the more it stinks”. The incident occurred in February, and Rice and Palmer were married in March. So apparently she got over it, or it only happened once. If it’s happened before, maybe she likes that treatment. There are some women like that, as hard as it if for me to understand.

With Rice being 27 years old, which is young, but 30 is considered as getting old for a running back, and having his worst season of his career last year, his possible return to the NFL is in serious jeopardy. Rice, who never averaged less than 4.0 yards per carry in a season, which is the NFL average, only averaged 3.1 yards per carry in 2013.

The indefinite suspension from the NFL basically means you’re out forever, unless we decide you can have another chance. The embarrassment this caused the Baltimore Ravens and the NFL will have a lingering effect. Even if he is eventually reinstated, who will want to sign him, after his worst season, and the backlash that will occur to any future team?

Now Goodell is under increased scrutiny also. Some have called for his resignation, or even for him to be fired. If the AP report is true, why would Goodell bury this video? Yes, it is embarrassing to the league, but so are the many positive drug tests and drunk drivings committed by players and even the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, Jim Irsay. Goodell and the Ravens should have reacted like they did on Monday, back when they received the video.

Guess who is on Thursday Night Football this week, the Baltimore Ravens. They host the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC North division game. We might have more “stink” to hear about by the time the game is televised. This may be just the beginning of this ordeal.
